PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS FY 2024-25

  • Developed a new product variant and secured initial orders, expanding the product portfolio
  • Continued focus on new product development, actively pursuing long-term contracts and strategic supply agreements with leading global chemical players
  • Initiated a major overhaul of the energy mix, with short-term benefits started to accrue from March 2025
  • Capacity expansion, debottlenecking, and process optimisation initiatives have driven improvements in operational efficiency and cost competitiveness
  • Successfully increased capacity of an agro intermediate supported by process optimisation efforts
  • Expanded capacity of select products to meet rising demand
  • Achieved a 100% capacity increase at the Xylidines plant through debottlenecking

PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS FY 2024-25

  • Achieved 10% growth in production volumes, delivering a record 3,33,000+ tonnes of Phenol during the year
  • Set new production records across key products — Phenol, Acetone, AMS, Cumene, and IPA, driven by operational enhancements
  • Signed definitive long-term supply agreements with Petronet LNG Limited for 2,50,000 MTPA of Propylene and 11,000 TPA of Hydrogen, securing critical feedstock to support future capacity expansion
  • Sustained healthy margins, supported by optimal manufacturing infrastructure and consistently high asset utilisation
  • The Phenol plant operated at an average utilisation rate exceeding 165%; Cumene and IPA plants recorded utilisation levels of 172% and 134%, respectively
  • Continued proactive process improvements, including benefits from Advanced Process Control contributing to efficiency gains
  • Achieved a 5% reduction in energy consumption compared to FY 2023-24, reflecting ongoing focus on energy efficiency
  • Launched a unique waste-to-wealth initiative to recover high-value Acetophenone from low-value by-product streams; the project is expected to be commissioned within the current financial year
