As we embark on a new phase of growth, Destination Bharat reflects our vision of transforming India into a self-reliant, globally competitive hub for advanced chemicals and intermediates, making in India, for the world.
Amid shifting global dynamics and supply chain realignments, we are expanding our fully integrated operations and strengthening our backward and forward integration capabilities — with upstream products like Nitric Acid in Advanced Intermediates vertical to downstream derivatives of Phenolics vertical like MIBK, MIBC, and Polycarbonate (PC) Resins. One of the major initiatives has been our step forward to foray into polycarbonate resins — a critical import substitution opportunity for India. With a planned investment of around ₹ 8,500 Crores, Deepak is poised to become one of the world’s largest single-location integrated producers of Phenolics products from Cumene to Phenol to Polycarbonate and converting much of this capacity into high-value derivatives for diverse applications across mobility, electronics, medical equipment, aerospace, packaging, and emerging industries such as EV battery solutions.
Our upcoming R&D centre further underscores our commitment to innovation, while sustained investments in manufacturing capabilities, process and platform enhancements, and asset optimisation continue to set new benchmarks. These initiatives will bolster our market position and make us a preferred partner for global and domestic customers
